ARP Hat Washer

The inevitable reality of a race engine is that they need maintenance sometimes including taking the cylinder heads on and off. Unfortunately that spells wear and tear on the surfaces where mounting hardware meets the cylinder head. The hardened steel hat washers can be installed in the head providing the best surface possible for mounting hardware to torque up against, while preventing marring of the Aluminum.
